Usage
Use after cleansing and conditioning your hair. (Do not towel dry or blot after your final rinse.)
You may use Twist Defining Cream for shingling, too, by combing it section-by-section through clean, detangled soaking wet hair with a wide-toothed comb. Dry thoroughly before manually fluffing and separating for style.

To add protection and sheen apply a small amount into palm of hands and massage directly on to scalp. Hair can be wet or dry. Apply as needed.Not recommended for children under a year old
For styling twist-outs, braid-outs and knot-outs
Apply a fingertip portion to the hairline. Smooth with a brush or small-tooth comb for a lasting blended finish.
Use as a daily moisturizer to hydrate dry thirsty hair. Can be used to seal ends and to refresh curls. Can be used along with the white peony leave in conditioner.
Moisture is the key to length retention and it’s important to keep our hair fully moisturized.
Prime wet hair with Pomegranate & Honey Leave-In Conditioner before styling. Optional: for best results, apply Mielle Mint Almond Oil after priming while hair is still wet. This will provide added conditioning and help to reduce potential flaking. Define curls by applying Coil Sculpting Custard to dripping wet hair. Divide hair into small sections and apply generously, fingering the product through making sure to coat the strands evenly. Allow hair to air-dry or diffuse for added volume. Although typically used to style Wash-N-Go’s, you may style as desired.
Massage into wet hair until full lather forms. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

PRIME + DEFINE with Pomegranate & Honey Leave-In Conditioner and one of three styling options to create soft to deep definition.
RE-DEFINE with Curl Refreshing Spray by spraying onto the hair, holding the bottle 7 to 10 inches away and lightly massage into curls.
After shampooing apply to clean damp hair. Let sit for 15 minutes for an intense treatment. If you wish to use, heat 30 minutes under the dryer is desirable. Your scalp will feel wonderful after using this conditioner.
Apply to towel-dried hair. Divide hair into sections. Smooth product onto hair from root to tip, concentrating on problem areas. Do not rinse. Style as desired.
Scalp Treatment
Section hair into 4 parts exposing scalp. Apply a small amount of oil to scalp, massage oil in with fingers and comb through to ends of hair. Leave in and style as desired.
As I AM Curl Clarity Shampoo 8oz
Apply As I Am® JBCO Leave-in Conditioner liberally throughout clean, detangled hair.
While hair is still damp to wet, smooth Curling crème onto small sections from root to tip.
Define each section by gliding hair between your thumb and forefinger, rotating the ends around your fingertip to form a coil finish.
Spray hair with AIA JBCO water if it begins to dry before you’re done. Air dry or use a hood dryer on low setting.
After hair is completely dry, fluff, separate or arrange coils and curls as desired.
As I AM So Much Moisture! 8oz
After hair has been cleaned and is damp, divide into sections. Apply a liberal amount of the Mielle Brazilian Curl Cream to hair combing or fingering through from root to ends. Immediately follow in the same section of hair with the Mielle Brazilian Cocktail Mousse. Follow the same pattern in each section of hair until completely done. Style hair as desired.
AS I AM Curling Jelly 8 oz
Apply to the scalp and ends of the hair and gently massage all throughout the hair to cleanse the hair of natural products. Use in between shampoos.
Apply a liberal amount of product (on freshly cleaned hair) to damp hair covering from root to tip. Style as desired using heat or by letting air dry. On the 2nd or 3rd day spray hair with water until damp. Apply a liberal amount of product to your hair. Style as desired.
As I Am JBCO Moisturizing Masque is an intensive conditioner.
Apply a generous amount to hair strands working the product in from root to tip. Leave on for 15-20 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly.
For Deep Treatment:
Distribute masque throughout hair. Put on a plastic cap. Leave on 15-20 minutes under a hooded dryer. Dampen hair if it gets too dry. Remove cap, carefully detangle, and rinse thoroughly.
For best results, use at least twice a week, or as directed by a doctor.
Shake well before use.
Apply by massaging onto wet hair and scalp.
Rinse and repeat.
Follow with As I Am Dry & Itchy Scalp Care Conditioner and As I Am Dry & Itchy Scalp Care Oil Treatment for best results.
Rub ample amount of shampoo between palms and gently lather through wet hair.
Massage hair and scalp, leave on for five minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Repeat if necessary.
