By signing up for an OjaMEA’s sellers account, you agree that you will not sell or offer any of the services listed below. The sale of any Prohibited Products, and that you will not use OjaMEA’s services to accept payment for sale of any Restricted Products without providing additional information or documentation as specified by OjaMEA.com

Prohibited Products

  1. Illegal and Potentially Illegal Products/Services 
  2. Adult Entertainment (Sexually Oriented) 
  3. Pre-Adult Content- Pictures, Videos, etc. of individuals under the age of 18
  4. Firearms, Ammunition, High Capacity Magazines, Weapons (Swords, Knives, etc.)
  5. Tobacco Products, Smoking Mixtures, or Tobacco Substitutes
  6. Drug Paraphernalia
  7. Prescription Drugs/Devices, Controlled Substances, Unapproved Drugs, Unapproved Medical Devices, Pseudo-Pharmaceuticals
  8. Medical Services and/or Advice
  9. Internet Pharmacies
  10. Internet Pharmacy Referral Sites
  11. Financial Services or Advice (including but not limited to)
  • Check cashing
  • Collection agencies or firms involved in recovering/collecting past due receivables
  • Credit Counseling or Credit Repair Services
  • Currency exchange o Debt consolidation
  • Loan or Mortgage Modification
  • Credit card protection (including identity theft protection)
  • Money transfer services/Cash Advance (except for regulated Financial Institutions which are acceptable)

  3. Embassy, Foreign Consulate, or Other Foreign Government
  4. Travel Services, including Airfare, Cruises, and Car Rentals
  5. Pre-Paid Phone Card or Services
  6. “Up-Sell” Sellers

  8. Cash Gifting
  9. Psychic or astrological readings/consultation
  10. Hypnosis and/or subliminal recordings or consultation
  11. Replica and/or unlicensed branded goods
  12. Gambling, including Prognostication, Lotteries, Raffles, Contests, and sweepstakes
  13. Offering a Free Gift, Prize or Contest/Sweepstakes entry as an inducement to purchase their product or service
  14. Multi-Level Marketing Companies
  15. Inbound Telemarketing Companies that receive calls as the result of post cards or similar mailings (as opposed to catalog or media advertising)
  16. Outbound Telemarketing Companies
  17. Direct Marketing- Subscription Sellers
  18. Infomercial Sellers
  19. Selling Products/Services as an Agent for a Third Party
  20. Sellers offering Substantial Rebates or Special Incentives that are awarded to the cardholder subsequent to the original purchase
  21. Negative response marketing techniques by any type of seller (i.e. customer is automatically charged if they don’t return the merchandise at the end of the free trial period)
  22. Sites that promote Hatred, Racism, or Religious Persecution
  23. Non-Accredited Certification Test Exams, Academic Degrees, or Diplomas
  24. Matrimonial sites, “Find-A-Bride”, etc.
  25. Cultural artifacts, Antiquities, and Native American Artifacts
  26. Police and other Government Identification and Equipment
  27. Fulfillment Centers
  28. “Get-rich-quick” schemes
  29. Medical Benefits packages
  30. Medical Marijuana
  31. Pseudo-pharmaceuticals (anti-aging pills, sex nutrients, etc.)
  32. Sports forecasting or odds-making
  33. Extended warranty companies
  34. Audio/video text
  35. Products that promote or facilitate illegal activity
  36. Newsgroups and/or file sharing services
  37. Radar and/or cellular jammers or boosters
  38. Legal services and/or advice
  39. Phone unlocking/“jailbreaking”, modification chips, unlock codes
  40. Cyberlockers
  41. Restricted products/services are ones which we will support, but with additional documentation and/or differing terms.

Prohibited Merchants

  1. Sellers Engaged in Activity Prohibited by the Card Brands
  2. Sellers or Principals listed on MATCH
  3. Seller, Principal or related entities previously identified by any Card Brand for deceptive practices or any other violation of Card Brand rules.
  4. Sellers in any Card Brand excessive chargeback or fraud program or sellers with chargeback or fraud rates over 1%
  5. Sellers that use tactics to evade any Card Brand excessive chargeback or fraud monitoring programs
  6. Sellers up-selling or cross-selling products of other sellers and then sharing the cardholder data with the third party or receiving cardholder data from third parties (Data Pass).
  7. Sellers splitting the sale across multiple transactions
  8. Merchants providing products/services that fall under the 5967 MCC
